You’d think that would be good news.

And in fact it is! We are living during an AMAZING time for music makers. Gear is well made and more affordable than ever. Computers and production software is more powerful and accessible than ever.

We no longer need to shell out thousands of dollars for our studios. All that remains is our commitment to learning the art and craft of recording and mixing

So in response to some of the drama that unfolded on this post, today I want to walk you through a real $300 home studio setup – and then I want to issue a challenge (for myself) at the end. This is going to be fun.
