Welcome To The New Site Design

2011 Dec 26, 2011

Here is my Christmas gift to you all, a new site design. After 2 years of existence I figured it was time for a website makeover. Now I don’t like to change things just for change sake. Instead the redesign was born out of function and really to help answer many of your requests. While it still may not the perfect website I feel you’re going to like it a lot better.

Brand New Video Page

One thing I wanted to do was have a static page that would composite a bunch of my videos together in a simply media player format. Now if you click on the “Videos” link up top in the menu you’ll get access to a mini YouTube channel of sorts right here on the blog. You can even view and contribute YouTube comments. Looking for my most viewed videos? Just click on the tabs on the right. What about my highest rated videos on YouTube? It’s all there. Brilliant.

Easier Access To Archived Posts

If you’re looking for articles and tutorials I’ve posted way in the past, I’ve made it a lot easier to find what you’re after. The new “Articles” link at the top of the site will give you a drop down of my major post categories so you can scroll through content faster. Looking for all my product reviews? Bam, it’s done. Looking for all my Pro Tools related articles? Easy as one click. In need of mixing advice? Just click the “mixing” link.

More Streamlined Online Store

And for those of you who have supported The Recording Revolution by purchasing one or more of my in-depth video products, then you’ll love the new products page. I tried to streamline it so as I ad more products you can easily find what you’re looking for and get onto downloading your tutorials faster.

Spread The Word

So no matter how you like to use The Recording Revolution, I hope the new site design and layout only aids you in your pursuit of recording and mixing training. And if you enjoy the site as much as I do, would you be so kind as to share it with just one other person? Maybe send out a tweet or Facebook message spreading the good word. I would be honored to have your support. Merry Christmas everyone!
